In the report on the work of art titled The Rising Society of Technology and Dystopic Effects in Art, the concept of Dystopia/Utopia was envisioned together with today’s minor and major political scenarios and investigated through the practices in the art of sculpture. The fundamental concepts of the report, utopia and dystopia, were evaluated within the framework of issues such as domestication, depopulation, dehumanization, ecological disaster, wearable emotion, machine mind, and dreamlessness. The first part of the study includes discussions of utopia such as “planet home”, domesticity, advancement, ascent, the principle of hope, perfect happiness. In the second part, the concepts the issue of dystopia is based on such as depopulation, derelict spaces, and dehumanization, were exemplified with various works of art. The final part of the study includes the narration and examples of the humans, portraits, and toys of a potential dystopian country, via a fictional dark utopia.
