Abstract
This thesis elaborates the religion factor in East-West axis-based foreign policy approach of Justice and Development Party. In literature, the religion factor is mostly examined in national politics of Justice and Development Party. But Justice and Development Party is one of the main decision maker as being power since 2002 when we consider the Irak War, process of European Union membership, Israel and Palestine conflict and Arap Uprising. All these developments highlight the importance of the religion factor in foreign policy as it is in national politics. In this regard, this thesis aims to fullfill the literature by focusing on the religion factor in foreign policy of Justice and Development Party. This factor is examined in frame of discourse analysis. The discourse and practice relation is considered when analysing the discourses.
