The aim of this research is to determine the effects of e-portfolio applications on technological competence, assessment and evaluation competence perception, reflective thinking and learning motivation, which are among teacher competences. The study was carried out with primary school teacher candidates studying in the 3rd year of Education Faculty of a state university in Ankara. In the research, a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest control group was used. In the experimental group, the lessons were taught by applying the assessment-evaluation course curriculum in education, e-portfolio, while in the control group, the lessons were taught without using the e-portfolio application. Quantitative data of the study were collected by using Information and Communication Technology Scale, Assessment and Evaluation Competence Perception Scale, Learning Motivation Scale, Reflective Thinking Scale, Performance Tasks and Monitoring activities and in the analysis of quantitaive data, independent samples t testi, mixed design two way ANOVA, Mann-Whitney-U test and ANCOVA test were used. The qualitative data of the study were collected by applying a semi-structured interview form to the participants in the experimantal group through the interview techique and the content analysis method was used in the analysis of the qualitative data. The findings of the study showed that e-portfolio applications have a positive effect on pre-service classroom teachers' perception of technology competence, assessment and evaluation competence, reflective thinking, learning motivation, performance tasks and monitoring activities. As a result of research, it was concluded that using the e-portfolio application in the primary school teaching undergraduate program would be beneficial.
