Abstract
In this study, the effect of psychological contract breach on organizational cynicism and the role of leader-member exchange in this relation are investigated. In the study, a model was set up to understand the relation between psychological contract breach, organizational cynicism and leader-member exchange. For this purpose, data was collected from three public university, 209 academic and administrative personel through questionnaire. Correlation analysis, hierarchical and mediating variable regression analyses were used to test the research hypotheses. The study results showed that there is a positive relationship between psychological contract breach and participants cynical attitudes, also leader-member exchange have a partial mediating role in this relation. In other words when employees had a perception of psychological contract breach related to organizations they developed a cynical attitudes.
