İhracat Performansı İle Uluslararası Rekabet Gücünün Yapısal Belirleyicileri Arasındaki İlişki: OECD ve BRIIC Ülkeleri Uygulaması
Abstract
In this thesis, the relation between the structural determinants of competitiveness and export performance is analyzed. The structural determinants imply the variables such as institutional capacity, infrastructure and market size. The explanatory power of these variables on export performance is assessed. To this end, firstly the international trade theories are discussed in retrospect. Afterwards, in the second pillar of the thesis, the international competitiveness and its determinants are explained in detail. In the last section of the study, the empiric literature is reviewed and estimation methods under panel data analysis together with the relevant statistical tests are briefly discussed. The panel data analysis of this study covers 39 countries including 34 OECD members and BRIIC countries for the period 2006-2013.
