Companies and organizations produce identities like individuals. Every organization’s identity is formed over time and this is tried to be given to the employees. However, the factors that make up this organisational identity are not perceived in the same way by employees, and these different perceptions lead to different organisational outcomes. Turnover intention is one of these consequences, and perhaps one of the most important ones.
Among the factors that constitute organisational identity, perceptions of employees about corporate culture, corporate communication, corporate structure and corporate behavior were researched.
In this context, the questionnaire was conducted on totally 1.269 participants working in the private and public sectors in the field of customs, and the data obtained was analyzed through the statistical programs of SPSS 23 and AMOS 23 in terms of any mediating effect. As a result, the partial mediating effects of organisational commitment and organisational cynicism on the relationship between organisational identity factors and turnover intention were reached, and some assessments were made with respect to these results, and some recommendations were suggested at the end.
