The Mongols lived for about two hundred and twenty years under the Manchus during
the years 1691-1911. Halha Jirum is Mongolians law that used between 1709-1795,
during the period when the Mongols lived due to the Manchu. In this context, Halha
Jirum is expressing about Mongols laws and social structure of XVIII century and it is a
very important source for Mongolian history and Mongolian law. In Turkey, which has
not yet been examined Halh Jirum’s translation and investigation will be an important
source of information for the Turkish-Mongolian history and culture of research in
Turkey. For this purpose Halha Jirum translated into Turkey Turkish. After that Halha
Jirum was analyzed and evaluated by comparing Cengiz Khan's Ih Zasag law and
Mongolian-Oirat law issued in 1640.
