Şizofrenili Bireylerde Allen Bilişsel Seviye Tarama-5 (ABST-5) Testinin Türkçe Uyarlamasının Geçerlilik ve Güvenilirliğinin İncelenmesi
Özet
This study was planned to adapt “Allen Cognitive Level Screen-5 (ACLS-5)”, which evaluates cognitive skills, to Turkish and to investigate its validity and reliability in individuals with schizophrenia. The study included 60 individuals with schizophrenia and 60 healthy individuals. ACLS-5 was adapted to Turkish. During the administration, the names given to the stitch tasks were named in accordance with the Turkish culture since they did not have a Turkish equivalent. Reliability of ACLS-5 was examined by test-retest method. In the reliability of the test with the test-retest method, the in-class correlation coefficient was found to be 0.93 (0.85-0.94) high reliable. The construct validity is; It was examined in two sub-parameters: “construct validity with external tests” and “construct validity between groups”. In ACLS-5's intergroup validity, it was observed that healthy individuals had higher results than individuals with schizophrenia and ACLS-5 had a distinctive feature (Z = 7.065; p <0.01). Social Functionality Scale (SFS) and Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (WCST) were used for ABST-5's external validity and construct validity. A weak correlation was found between total SFS (r = 0.426; p <0.001) and its sub parameters (r = 0.104-0.487; p <0.05). The WCST repetitive number of answers (r = -0.537; p <0.01), the percentage of repeating answers (r = -0.540; p <0.01), the number of recurrent errors (r = -0.557; p <0.01) and the percentage of recurrent errors (r = -0.555; p <0.01) and a moderate was found negative correlation. As a result, ACLS-5 was found to be a valid and reliable test for evaluating cognitive skills in individuals with schizophrenia.
