Özet
Almost as old as human history, advertising is one of the most important sales marketing methodes. Today, many advertising tools are often used in daily life.Among these, the most frequently used ones are written and visual advertising tools.In this study, Turkish and German advertisments were compared to see what linguistic ( semantic ) similarities exist between the two.Frequently used methods in advertising analysis;symbols, perceptions, rhetorical figures and styles so on have been emphasized, especially in car commercials.
