Stirenin Çapraz Bağlayıcı ve Raft Ajanı Varlığında İyonlaştırıcı Radyasyonla Polimerizasyonu
Abstract
In this study RAFT mediated polymerization of styrene was investigated in the presence of three different ratio of crosslinking agent (divinylbenzene).Molecular weights and molecular weight distributions of soluble polymers in solution were determined by size exclusion chromatography (SEC).It has been observed that the crosslinking mechanism occurring in case of RAFT mediation is not the same with that observed during the conventional method, and the molecular weight of the soluble cross-linked polymers increases with conversion to some degree during the RAFT mediated crosslinking.After gelation, characterization of the insoluble gels were carried out by rheological analyses, compression test and swelling analyses. Crosslink density and average molecular weight between the crosslinks were calculated using the results of these analyses.
