Bir Zeolit-Tabakalı Çift Hidroksit Kompozitinin Hazırlanması ve Sulu Amonyum Pentaborat Çözeltilerinden Anyon ve Katyonların Adsorpsiyonunda Kullanılması
Abstract
A Zeolite-Layered Double Hydroxide composite capable for the removal of both cations and anions from aqueous wastes was prepared. Linde A type zeolite (LTA) and Mg-Al-Cl-Layered Double Hydroxide (LDH) were prepared separately and zeolite particles were coated with LDH hydrothermally in a pressure reactor to obtain the nanocomposite material. The chemical compositions of the products were determined with elemental analysis methods, structural properties were investigated with powder XRD and FT-IR analysis, thermal stabilities were analyzed with TGA technique, surface properties were studied with SEM-EDS imaging and spectral analysis technique, zeta potential measurements and BET surface area measuements. Adsorption properties of the as-prepared composite were investigated by following the adsorption of ammonium and borate ions from aqueous ammonium pentaborate solutions.
