Doğal Kauçuk Bütadiene Kauçuk Esaslı Silecek Malzemelerinin Hazırlanması ve Karakterizasyonu
Abstract
The main purpose of this thesis is to prepare new generation cold climate wiper blade for Renault-Fluence automobiles using Natural rubber (NR) Butadiene (BR) blends and also to examine the effects of NR BR ratio along with filler effects on wiper performance. In the scope of thesis and as a primary step physico- mechanic properties and thermal and ozone resistance of wipers which are manufactured in Turkey and are in use in Renault-Fluence were examined. Hardness, elongation at break, tensile strength and compression set values of currently in use wiper blade were determined. Thermal aging behavior, ozone resistance, hardness, compression set, abrasion loss and mechanical properties of rubber compounds were determined and elucidated. All the results of the first phase of the study have been used as a data base in preparation of the new wiper blades material in the second phase.In the second phase, first the NR based formulary with different carbon black ratios has been prepared.
