Xanthomonas Vesicatorianın Issr Markırları Kullanılarak Genetik Tiplendirmesi
Özet
Xanthomonas vesicatoria is a major pathogen of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) and pepper (Capsicum spp.). Bacterial spot caused by Xanthomonas vesicatoria is one of the most important diseases in the Eastern Mediterranean Region of Turkey in recent years. The disease causes considerable crop looses in areas of warmer and humid climate. It is necessary to genetic typing of the plant pathogenic bacteria for detecting the source of the pathogens and defining appropriate management of disease. There are various marker systems to analyse and define the bacteria genomes. ISSR-PCR is one of the efficiently used technique for genetic typing among bacterial species. In this study, first 29 samples of Xanthomonas vesicatoria isolates from tomato and pepper in Turkey and U.S.A have identified in the presence of 517 bp fragment of rhs gene by using XCVF and XCVR primers.
