Kavram Karikatürlerinin İlköğretim Yedinci Sınıf Öğrencilerinin Basit Elektrik Devreleri Konusundaki Kavram Yanılgıları Üzerindeki Etkisi
Abstract
The object of this research is to examine the effect concept cartoons on seventh grade students misconceptions about simple electric circuits. Research is conducted with totally 36 seventh grade students of a public school in Erdek Balıkesir within the fall term of 2011-2012. This three week long study is carried out on the topics of electricity in our life and simple electricity circuits . Matched pretest-posttest control group design was used in this quasi-experimental study. Simple electricity circuits three-tier test, which was derived from the literature, is facilitated in this study.For this study, a total of 11 concept cartoons were prepared to be used in the experimental group.When teaching methods compared, misconceptions of students in the experimental group instructed with concept cartoons was significantly less than those of in the control group.
