Okul Öncesi Eğitim Kurumlarında Çalışan Personelin Cinsel İstismar Bildirim Durumları
Abstract
This study is conducted to examine the information of reporting child sexual abuse, factors affecting the decision of not reporting child sexual abuse and attitudes toward reporting sexual abuse of the staff working in pre-school institutions who have important roles in recognition of reporting child sexual abuse. Moreover this study targets to adapt a measuring tool for Turkish literature. The questionnaire developed by Benjamin P. Mathews, KerryAnne Walsh, Desmond A. Butler, Anna Farrell and Sam Kilby NEW Mehdi Rassafi names "Teacher Reporting Questionnaire". The study sample is gathered from public preschools in Ankara, Bursa, Izmir, Antalya, Gaziantep, Samsun and Van; with 2100 teachers who are allowed by the school management and agreed to fill out the questionnaire. After eliminating blank questionnaires; for adaptation study 552, for the study 698 and in total 1250 teachers are involved in the research. Questionnaires were collected between September, October and November, 2014.
