Okul Öncesi Öğretmenlerinin Matematiksel Gelişimine İlişkin İnanışları İle Çocukların Matematik Kavram Kazanımları Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi
Özet
This study was done to explore the link between preschool teachers’ beliefs regarding mathematical development and children’s acquisition of mathematics concepts. Correlational method was used in this quantitative study.As for data collection tools, “Teacher Personal Information Form”, “ChildPersonal Information Form”, “Mathematical Development Beliefs Scale” and to measure children’s acquisition of mathematics concepts “Bracken Basic Concept Scale-Revised Form(BBCS-R)” were used in this study.As a result of the study, it was found that there is a positive and significant relationbetween teachers' beliefs and children’s acquisition of mathematics concepts.
