Okul Öncesinde Yaratıcı Problem Çözme Etkinliklerinin Yaratıcılığa Etkisi (5 Yaş Örneği)
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to figure out the effects of creative problem solving (CPS) activities on the creativity of children who are 5 years of age. The design of the research was based on sequential exploratory design, which is a kind of mixed method research methodology. The study was carried out in two steps. In the first step of the study, between 2012 October and 2013 January, interviews were made with five academicians working in International Center for Studies in Creativity (ICSC) at Buffalo State College in New York, USA and five teachers trained by ICSC. The second step of the study was carried out at Kutipoğlu Kindergarden. According to the findings, total creativity scores which the experimantal and the control groups got from TTCT Figural forms were compared and the experimental group s post-test total creativity scores were significantly higher than the pre-test scores, namely it is seen that the CPS activities were effective on the experimental group.
