It was determined that the main purpose of the study should be to present the students , counsellors and school disciplinary committee members views related to the impact of being in social media environments and using social media tools, on bad behaviours, violence and crime incidence amongst secondary level students. The extent to which the students in question are affected by violent images and news was determined comparatively in terms of the basic variables, and comparisons were made by looking at levels of statistical significance between different variables.
