II. Meşrutiyet Döneminde Bir Çocuk ve Gençlik Dergisi: Talebe Defteri

Abstract

The constitutional period was the turbulent times which was referred as two terms and commenced towards the end of 19th century and lasted until the first quarter of 20th century. The National Literature had been developed in this period comprising of writings which would make a difference and bring encouragement to survive to the community get exhausted from war, rebellion and casualty. In this study, a Journal of Child and Youth: Talebe Defteri from national literature written by Muallim Ahmed Halid in Second Constitutional Period was reviewed.The purpose of this study is to review Talebe Defteri published between 1913 and 1919 and to explain its role in that period. The journal with target audience of child and youth students is a valuable resource for Turkish Literature and Turkish History in terms of its content and publication period.
