The Balkan geography has largely attained a place from novel to story fromtheatre to poetry in every area of literature. In the light of political and socialdevelopments which occur in 19th and 20th centuries, hundreds of poems werewritten. The wars and revolts occurred in the process of splitting this fatherlandfrom Ottoman Empire and the territories lost has gained a special place in thepoetry world of many poets, so "war poetries" constitute the great part of oursurvey. The topic of the poems which are analyzed under the title of War begins with Crimean War. Yet it is possible to carry the disintegration of Balkansto Crimean War in 1854-56. After that, within the frame of Ottoman-Russia War(1877-78), Turk-Greek War and Crete issue, the Balkan s image reflecting toout poetry was approved to be analyzed. By sealing the current fate of thegeography, Balkan wars made an overwhelming impression in TurkishLiterature were detailed handled and given in sub-titles.
