Hazırlama Türü ve Duygusal Bağlamın Dikkatsizlik Körlüğü Üzerindeki Etkisinin İncelenmesi: Bir Göz İzleme Çalışması
Özet
Inattentional blindness (IB) refers to an observer s failure to notice unexpected objects. The main aim of this study is to investigate the effects of the priming type and emotional context on IB with behavioral and physiologic measurements. There was no main effect of priming type on eye tracking measurements. However, a main effect of emotional context on all three eye track measurements has been found. First fixation duration to unexpected stimulus (US) was longer in negative video condition than the positive and neutral ones. Total fixation duration to US was more in neutral video condition than either negative or positive ones. Total fixation count to US was longer in neutral and positive video conditions than the negative one. Whereas total fixation time to the US was equal between participants who notice US and those who failed to notice US, the total fixation time was longer and the total fixation count was higher among participants who failed to notice the US.
