Abstract

In university libraries; journal collection has a significiant value for usage and scientific output. Multi-dimensional analysis of journal collection is therefore very important. The main purpose of this study is to make a multi-dimensional analysis of METU s journal collection for the period of 2001-2011. In this study, ranking and clustering features of journals were evaluated by multiple variables and dimensions. The study aims to calculate a total value for journals. Data regarding METU journal collection were provided from Web of Knowledge, InCites, JCR, SCImago platforms and administration pages of publishers. Download data of METU journals, publications with METU addresses, and international quality indicators of journals were provided from these platforms and 13 variables were identified.
