Abstract
This study aims to analyze the
curriculum of, and the services provided by, the
Department of Information Management of
Hacettepe University on the basis of the opinions
of its senior students. A questionnaire was used
to collect data from students (response rate:
90%). It was found out that students are partly
satisfied with the curriculum (53%) and the
service quality (67%). Some 62% of students
found the laboratory service (the number of PCs
and printers) inadequate. Students thought signs
and the bulletin boards at the Department are
satisfactory. They liked selective courses better
than the compulsory ones. One third of students
said they plan to practice their profession when
graduated while almost half are undecided.
