Çağdaş Türk Müziği Bestecilerinden Semih Korucu'nun "Sarsılmışlar için Müzik" Adlı Eserinin Form Analizi ve Orkestra Şefliği Tekniği Açısından İncelenmesi

Abstract

In this study, the development of the Contemporary Turkish Music was explained, and the work titled “Music for the Shaken”, composed by Semih Korucu, one of the Contemporary Turkish Music composers, was analyzed and studied in terms of form and conducting technique. The composer, created his own music from the point of an idea or a concept/concepts. This is how “Music for the Shaken” arose. Program notes that were written by the composer himself and information about “Haiku (Poems)” and “Firmament”, which were composed after “Music for the Shaken” and form a trilogy along with it, were included. The use of the pitch set of “A-B-C-(B-D)”, it’s different appearances; the motivic structuring, and the techniques that were used by the composer were examined and comprehensively explained. Necessary information for conductor candidates to be able to realize the work, and how a conductor could apply it on an orchestra during a rehearsal were asserted.
