This research is conducted to analyze the effect of children's rights and democracy education on children's democratic behavior levels. A semi-experimental pre-test / post-test model with control group was used to assess the effect children's rights and democracy education. The study group of the research consisted of 53 children, in which 28 are in the experimental group (14 girls, 14 boys) whereas the other 25 are in the control group (11 girls and14 boys), were educated in the two preschools located in Kayseri. Democratic behavior Scale, which is developed by the researcher is used to determine democratic behavior levels of children. Data collections tools were implemented before and after the experimental process and implemented again to experimental group 4 weeks after the end of education program. Data were analyzed with SPSS 21 software package. Frequency (f) and percentage (%) are used in description of demographic information. The normality tests of the data were analyzed by the Shapiro-Wilk Test. The differences between the two groups that did not come from the normal distribution were analyzed by Mann Whitney U and the differences between the dependent variables that were not from the normal distribution were examined by Wilcoxon Test. At the end of the research, it is found that Child Rights and Democracy Education applied to experimental group children made a statistically significant difference on democratic behavior levels of children (O 1.1.: 118, O 1.2.: 182 , p <0.001). In addition, one month after the end of the program, the follow-up test results showed that the training program remained permanent (O 1.2.: 182, O 1.3.:187, p> 0.001)
