Abstract

This research sets an alternative to the horn-snare drum teams used in ceremonies of primary, secondry military schools replacing the musical teams with the horn which is technically a more elaborated instrument. Using its polyphony the horn was used in smilar areas with different models as accompaniment. In the first part of the research the horn-snare drum instruments are historically introduced, and the brigade teams which are established trough their association were researched. The regulations, establishment and assignment of these teams in means of repertoire were examined. In the second part of the research, the trumpet and its derivatives were examined. In case of changing the trumpet with the horn the basics of what can be done were set. At the thirth part of the research my own compositions and their varieties are presented. This research opens up a new view towards using wind an percussive instrruments especially on the educational and musical areas, in addition it opens up a new view in celebration and ceremonies. It’s estimated that the trumpet player souls will perform new activities with a sweet rivalry and add up to our repertoire with new compositions.
