Gender culture is a subject that has been researched all over the world since the 1970s. With women and men taking place together in all areas of society, the origin of the history of the two genders has become a matter of curiosity. Therefore, gender history culture tries to understand the positioning of women and men in society by shedding light on this historical process. Today, due to the increase in research in this field, a bibliography of gender studies originating in Turkey consisting of books and articles has been created based on Sonya Rose's approach to gender historiography. Since there has not been an independent bibliography study on gender culture in the discipline of folklore and other disciplines, the aim of the thesis is to fill this gap and to reveal the relationship between the discipline of folklore and gender culture. The study has been limited to two works of oral culture among the four works on gender in the discipline of folklore, and a book review of these two works has been conducted.
