With the declaration of Kazakhstan's independence, Kazakh learners' desire to learn Turkish and receive education in Turkey has increased significantly. Along with this increase in interest, there has also been an increase in studies on teaching Turkish to Kazakhs. The literature review on teaching Turkish to Kazakhs shows that the number of studies examining the problems faced by Kazakh learners in Turkish language learning has reached a certain maturity. Accordingly, the aim of this thesis is to systematically compile and synthesize the findings of the studies on the problems of Kazakh learners of Turkish as a foreign/second language regarding Turkish teaching/learning. In line with this purpose, the studies obtained as a result of the literature review were examined with the inclusion and exclusion criteria developed by the researcher. As a result of this review, a sample of fifteen studies was obtained. After determining the descriptive characteristics of the studies included in the study, common and sub-themes were created by following the steps of the meta-synthesis method. Within the framework of these themes; general evaluations and suggestions were presented by determining the characteristics of the studies such as publication year, type, research designs, data collection tools, data analysis tools, sample groups and learner problems addressed, and their common and different aspects. It also tries to reveal which issues Kazakh learners have more difficulty in learning Turkish and how they are addressed in the literature, as well as the general situation of the literature. In the thesis, the problems faced by the learners were tried to be synthesized by dividing the four basic language skills and grammar into sub-themes. According to the data obtained, suggestions for the language problems of Kazakh learners and future academic studies are presented. It is believed that the results of this study will provide a road map that can be followed in the literature on teaching Turkish to Kazakhs and contribute to the development of programs and course materials for teaching Turkish to Kazakhs.
