In this study, migration policies implemented in Sweden and Turkey are analyzed in the context of gender equality and social integration of Syrian migrant women. Through the examples of Turkey and Sweden, which have different attitudes towards gender equality in their policies, the effects on migration policies implemented for the social integration of Syrian migrant women were analyzed. In addition to the literature analysis in which migration is evaluated through gender equality, the data on the relevant subject in the reports prepared by the agencies affiliated to the United Nations between 2019 and 2023 have also been analyzed and added to the thesis study. By analyzing the data obtained from these studies, the differences and effects of gender equality and migration policies implemented in these two countries were tried to be understood. It has been observed that the different practices in the context of gender equality in Turkey and Sweden are reflected in the immigration policies of both countries and that gender equality attitude is a factor that significantly affects the social integration of immigrant women. As a result of the study, it has been extrapolated that gender equality policies implemented by the countries is a phenomenon that directly affects the success of migration policies and concurrently, it is directly affects the general situation and social integration of women migrants.
