Monographs, which have an important place among compilation studies in the field of Turkish Folklore, are mostly made about villages, towns, districts, cities or people. Monographs, which deal with written and oral cultural products, social and cultural structure, interviews with source people and observations made in the field, are important studies in the field of folklore. Although generally based on places and people, historical-architectural structures have not been discussed as the subject of monographs before. The study is the first in that it deals with the Spice Bazaar, one of the historical-architectural structures, in the form of a monograph. In addition, the discourse analysis method used during the study was transformed and adapted to presentation analysis and the Spice Bazaar shops were examined with this method. Another important point of the study is the use of presentation analysis method for the first time in the monograph genre in Turkish folklore. The aim of the study is to record the change and transformation of the Spice Bazaar throughout the historical process, to examine its current situation and to create a detailed document about the Spice Bazaar for the next generations. In the study, which was examined and put forward through the aspect of folklore recording the culture and social life, the Spice Bazaar was evaluated as a cultural center, and information about the bazaar was obtained from the eyes of the tradesmen and customers and interpreted and examined in the light of this information. The scope of the study is limited to the Spice Bazaar and the tradesmen-customers of the Spice Bazaar.
