İmgeleşen Öğe Kehtiyarın Sanatsal Yorumu
Özet
This master's thesis focuses on the reflection of the Kehtiyar character's complex
relationships within normative systems in art. The thesis examines the historical
evolution of perceptions and realities surrounding the Kehtiyar character, while
addressing human social adaptation and cultural development, especially
through the role of mythology and art concerning the Kehtiyar character.
Traditions, beliefs, daily habits, and folkloric elements have been subjected to a
detailed analysis in the context of the relationship between art and mythology.
The research reveals how Kehtiyar's evolution was shaped by references from
other cultures and how it became a cultural practice of life. The relationship
between Kehtiyar and art points to the evolution of social norms. The definition of
art and the narrative and material that each art form presents around the Kehtiyar
character have been thoroughly examined. The symbolic value and social
position of Kehtiyar have been explained by linking them to the collective
consciousness. Folklore, within evolving normative systems and mythological
elements over time, affects the perceptions and beliefs of the society. This study
explores the boundaries where artistic expression is shaped by a universal
language and interacts with the perceptual world, utilizing various art techniques.
When the interaction between art and Kehtiyar is understood, a deeper
intellectual depth is gained. The Kehtiyar character continues its existence as an
object by changing and evolving with external factors. The interaction of art with
time, space, objects, and collective consciousness enables the understanding
and interpretation of the character. In the study, alongside the examination of
world mythology, more emphasis is placed on the study of Anatolian mythology
to facilitate the understanding of the Kehtiyar character.
