This study was conducted as a methodological study in order to conduct Turkish adaptation, validity and reliability study of the "Missed Nursing Care - Perioperative Survey" in nurses caring for patients admitted for surgical treatment. The study sample consisted of 150 surgical clinic nurses and 150 operating room nurses. The study was conducted through an online survey across Turkey. Missed Nursing Care - Perioperative Survey was used as data collection tool. The survey was analyzed for language, content, construct validity and reliability. Since the survey was administered in two separate areas (clinic and operating room), the results of the analyses revealed the Missed Nursing Care of Operating Room Nurses - Perioperative and Missed Nursing Care of Surgical Nurses - Perioperative survey. Confirmatory factor analysis was first used to test the construct validity of both surveys. The compliance index values of the Missed Nursing Care of Surgical Nurses - Perioperative survey were found to be at an acceptable level, whereas the Missed Nursing Care of Operating Room Nurses - Perioperative survey was found to be below the acceptable level. As a result of the explanatory factor analysis conducted in this direction, a five-factor structure emerged. According to the results of the internal consistency analysis of the survey, Cronbach's alpha values ranged between 0.707 and 0.924. Spearman-Brown Correlation Coefficient ranges between 0.783- 0.943 and Guttman Split-Half Coefficient ranges between 0.782-0.939. Since the item-total item correlation coefficients were less than +0.25 for two items in both surveys, they were removed from the survey. In conclusion, the Turkish version of the "Missed Nursing Care - Perioperative Survey" was accepted as a valid and reliable measurement tool. It is recommended that the survey be used as a measurement tool to determine the missed nursing care in the surgical field and its causes.
