Atatürk Döneminde Çocuk Algısı

Abstract

When Mustafa Kemal Atatürk founded the republic, he didn't just change the regime, withal he changed the traditional mentality and several subjects which were effective on society. With the republican regime, a new Turkish identity was created and some works have been carried out fort the permanence of regime. When we look at the focus of the studies, it will be seen that these issues are mostly adressed directly or indirectly on the children who represent the future of the country. The phenomenon of the child, deprived of such a meaning in the past, in other words neglected, would gain a place in the country with the republic, become visible and form a basis fort he formation of the society's perception of child. The Republic had to raise the ideal citizen who would carry the new nation-state identity from childhood.
