The Beylik Period, one of the phases of the Old Anatolian Turkish written language, is a period in which many works in Turkish were written. Written in the 14th and 15th centuries by an author named Muhammad, Ferruḫ u Hümâ ('Işḳ-nāme) is a story of human love narrating the events between two characters named Ferruh and Hüma. The research has three main chapters; the first chapter is about the Old Anatolian Turkish Period, the author and the work. The second part is about the thematic classification of the nouns in Ferruḫ u Humā. The third part is about the study of lexical semantics with diachronic method.
