Gençlerde Dijital Flört Şiddetinin Toplumsal Cinsiyet Algısı ve İnternet Bağımlılığı ile İlişkisi

In this thesis, the relationship of digital dating violence, which is a type of dating violence that can be seen among young people, with gender perception, internet addiction and socio-demographic variables is discussed. The sample of the study consists of 476 young people between the ages of 18-29, living in Ankara and having at least one dating experience. According to the research outputs, there is a relationship between the dimensions of digital dating violence, especially the perpetrator of violence and being the victim. In addition, In addition, a significant relationship was found with gender perception and internet addiction on being a perpetrator of digital dating violence. In the analyzes made within the scope of the research, the average score of the control and monitoring behavior of digital dating violence is higher than the average score of direct aggression. Significant differences were observed in many dimensions of digital dating violence according to alcohol, cigarette and drug use. The findings obtained as a result of the research were discussed within the framework of the relevant literature, and suggestions were presented for future research and studies.
