Hastane Yöneticilerinin Stratejik Yönetim Araçları Bilgi ve Kullanım Düzeyleri Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Abstract

This study aims to reveal whether or not public and private hospital administrators have knowledge of strategic management tools, what strategic management tools they use, to what degree they are satisfied with these tools, and what tools they consider to use in the future. The study also intends to show the priorities of health institution administrators in selecting these strategic management tools. The survey developed by D. Rigby was translated into Turkish to be used as a data collection tool. 158 administrators from public and private hospitals located in Ankara metropolitan area participated in the study. According to the analysis results, the tools which the hospital administrators have most knowledge of, they use most, and they consider to use in the future most are total quality management, social media tools and the Internet, and strategic planning based on mission and vision.
