Diyabet Hastalarının Tedaviye Uyum Düzeyleri İle Sağlık Hizmeti Kullanımı ve Yaşam Kalitesini Etkileyen Faktörler

This study was conducted for the purpose of determining the factors affecting adherence to treatment and health care utilization and quality of life of patients with diabetes. Outpatients of a public hospital, which is located in Aksaray province, are the universe of the study. Questionnaire forms were used as the instruments for data collection in the study. Correlation coefficients (r=0,76-0,96) and Cronbach alpha coefficients (0,73-0,97) which were obtained at the end of test-retest method, indicated that the survey is reliable after all. The questionnaire was completed by 360 patients with diabetes during face to face interviews. At the end of the multiple regression analyses, it was found out that adherence to treatment level was effected by health literacy, Health Belief Model, insurance status, education level and type of diabetes.
