Türker, A. Investigation of the Relationship between Childhood Trauma Experiences and Attachment Styles in Adolescents with the Severity of Depression Diagnosis and Family Attitudes. Hacettepe University Graduate School of Sciences Child Development and Education Program Master's Thesis, Ankara, 2021. The main aim of the study is to examine the effects of parental attitudes, childhood trauma experiences and attachment styles on the level of depression in adolescents diagnosed with depression. In order to evaluate the main purpose of the study, 297 volunteer adolescents who applied to Elazığ Mental Health and Diseases Hospital Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and were diagnosed with depression participated in the study. General Information Form and Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ), Parental Attachment Scale and Parental Attitude Scale were administered to the volunteer adolescents. The informationS obtained from adolescents were analyzed using appropriate test methods. The obtained results; childhood traumas and parental attitudes have been found to be effective on depression and attachment levels in adolescents.
