According to a report of UNESCO Expert Meeting, lifelong education is described as “salvation”, “self realization” and “self-improvement”. In respect of this description, lifelong education, as an universal education, can be seen as a second chance because of the trouble which existed in specific time about formal education in the individual’s life. In this context, this thesis aimed to show the Public Education Centres’, as an opportunity from universal education and places where help individuals to give direction about their lives, impact on the individuals’ life in a scientific, technological, economical manner.
The goal of promotion is to show that young people can benefit from this education and to raise awareness about universal education does not limit with time and age. This promotion which is about the target group of young people is a necessity and this thesis’ aim is to realize this promotion. As a promotion, illustration as one of the fields of graphic design is used, it is unified with the cut out techniques and it is realized through stop motion animation technique to create a charmful and lively content.
This master thesis which is named as “Publicity of T.c. M.e.b. Public Education Centers through Stop Motion Techniques” includes three chapters. The first chapter of this thesis gives places to the evolution of public education centres in the world with education and the general information of the education system. The second chapter of this thesis is enriched with the fields of usage of stop motion animation technique, its evolution process, methodologies, techniques and types and the evolution process and examples of cut out techniques which will be used in illustration for promotion. The third chapter, as a final chapter, promotion of the public education centre and the scenario, design process, used shooting techniques of the study of application was addressed, needs and importance of promotion with this centres’ target group and subject and concepts in public education centre was addressed.
