This descriptive relational study was conducted to investigate the presence of nurses, patient-nurse trust relationships and corporate image perception in cancer patients. The study was conducted between December 2018 - February 2019 at Hacettepe University Oncology Hospital. The sample of the study consisted of 307 cancer patients who were hospitalized. The data of the research was collected using Demographic Data Form, Corporate Image Patient Questionnaire, the Presence of Nursing Scale and the Trust in Nurses Scale. Data were analyzed using SPSS (IBM SPSS Statistics 24). In analysis; the mean, standard deviation, number and percentage, median, Kruskal Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests and the relationship between the presence of nursing and the trust in nurses was examined by Spearman's correlation. As a result of the study, %45.9 of the patients stated that the presence of nursing made a difference in their lives. The patients' perception of the presence of the nursing was 116.6 ± 7.51 (89.0-120.0). The average score on the Trust in Nurses scale was 29,27±1.56 (25,0-30,0). Nursing services have a high impact on the opinions of the patients about the corporate image (98.0%), but they are not effective on hospital preference (3.9%).There was a positive and weak statistically significant relationship between the perception of the presence of the nurses’ and the trust in nurses (r = 0.382; p = 0.000). In the study, it was determined that the patients had a high level of trust in nurses, and that nursing services affected their opinions about the perceived corporate image. According to these findings, suggestions were made to nursing managers, trainers and clinicians to make the presence of the nurse more perceivable for cancer patients and to make nursing services more visible in hospitals.
