Abstract

CERAN Nur,The New York Times Gazetesi’nde Türk Kadını (1923-1938), Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Ankara, 2019 Thesis, Turkish Women in The New York Times(1923-1938) it is examined that changes which Turkish woman is undergone and its reflections in American press. In the first part of the these, ıt is examined that Turkish Woman in Ottoman Empire. In the second part,it is examined Turkish women in early republic times. At the same time, it is argued Turkish women education, their business life, their dresses and their activities. Ġn the third part, information is given about women’s rights in early republic time and it includes, civil law also right to vote.
