Abstract

This thesis investigates the effects of the agricultural policies implemented in the Democratic Party (DP) period on political, social, and economic life, covering the period from the 14th of May 1950 when the DP came to power to the 27th of 1960 when it was dismissed through cope d état. The study examines the agricultural policies followed by the DP and its implementation including structural change, agricultural education, agricultural mechanization, etc., and then addresses the changes and transformations introduced by such practices to social and economic fields.
