Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Eğitimi Bölümü Lisans Programının Mezun Yeterlik Algılarına Göre Değerlendirilmesi
Abstract
The purpose of this study was evaluating Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology s (CEIT) curriculum according to the graduates perceived competencies. This research was designed by using descriptive research model. Study group, consisted of 461 graduates, were chosen by using convenience sampling and purposeful sampling. For data collection four instruments were used, namely Demographic Information Form , CEIT Graduate s Perceived Pedagogical Competency Scale, CEIT Graduate s Perceived Technological Competency Scale , and Questionnaire about CEIT Graduates Opinion in Regard to Department s Curriculum . The data collection tools were developed by the researcher.Considering the results of research, participants level of pedagogical efficacy is higher than their level of technological efficacy. It is understood that Undergraduate Program of CEIT department is more succesful in providing pedagogical competencies than technological competencies.
