It is considered that women’s actively participation in business life like men is a positive step in terms of gender equality. However, when we consider the experiences of women’s in their daily lives, it is understood that they are exposed to double exploitation beyond equality. The main purpose of this study is to determine how women experience being a woman and through this, whether they link themselves to these definitions of the private sphere – public sphere or motherhood in the context of women’s participation in business life. In terms of current conditions developed under the influence of postmodernism, it has been investigated whether the perception of women has changed and whether the traditional patriarchal plea is inherently carried when a change seems to be in question. In this context, face to face interviews were conducted with 22 women from different professions with semi-structured questions and in-depth interview technique was carried out. Findings derived as a result of the research were surveyed by thematic analysis method. As a result of this thesis, it was concluded that women’s perspectives on participation in business life and motherhood were practiced by women inevitably accepting herself through motherhood and thus played a role in the reproduction of patriarchy.
