Modüler Seramik Birimlerle Minimalist Yaklaşımlar

Abstract

Due to the accumulation in the field of plastic arts, it should be known that a society that has a say in ceramic art has already reached a certain level in other branches of art. Due to the organic and elastic nature of the sludge, it becomes a hard, brittle ceramic after being exposed to heat and with its contradiction in itself, ceramic stands in a separate place among artistic materials. Despite all its features and demanding production conditions, ceramics are only a tool. The subject, which is considered as the Master of Arts in Art Report, is based on the evaluation of personal art works in line with the concepts of izm Minimalism ’and‘ Modularity.. The reason for the notion of izm minimalism ’and‘ modularity öne is the harmony between the reductionist attitude and the unit repetition to strengthen expression. In the first part of this study, which consists of three parts, the concepts of module and modularity are explained and examples are given in the direction of modularity in nature and art. In the second part; In line with the concept of minimalism, it is aimed to follow different disciplines and ceramic artists with minimal tendency. There are artists who show minimal tendency in contemporary ceramic art. The definition of minimalism is given to the Minimalist artists involved in the development process. Different disciplines with minimal tendency are also illustrated in this section. In the last part, the process of formation of personal art works consisting of modular ceramic units and interpretation of the works are completed.
