Özet
The study, which deals with the relationship between the artist and the audience, has been shaped by focusing on the change in these subject's own positions and the transitions between the periodic expression processes. When the process is considered, the experiences are seen as an area that worths for investigation in order to better understand the relationship between the two subjects. The reason why the study has been shaped around this subject is the answer to the questions about how the personal production and viewing processes are transformed into an action of art. The aim of the study is to examine art as an experience of producing and viewing and to look at experience from different perspectives.
In the study, which is considered as an art work report, the transitions between the adjectives of producer and the viewer are evaluated within the framework of visual arts. In the first section; the factors affecting the experience of viewing or producing are examined. These factors were mostly handled by the factors that were felt in the samples given throughout the study. In the second part that constitutes the focus of the thesis; while the artist, the viewer and the object of art are first examined in their own positions, their actions, which have become collective over time, are examined through an approach focused on expression and sharing rather than material or form.
The fact that the action of art is handled as an experience as a producer and a viewer is also manifested in personal practices. Therefore, the third part consists of an interpretation of the works on which spatial sketches are based during the research with an approach towards viewing and production actions.
