Özet
This research was carried out quasi-experimental to investigate the effect of web-based nursing process instruction on nursing students' care plan preparation skills. Within the scope of the research, the content of the course was presented on the web for 5 weeks and the effectiveness of this practice was evaluated. The sample of the study was consisted of 131 senior students (nintervention=64, ncontrol=67) studying in the 2017-2018 Academic Year at Hacettepe University Faculty of Nursing. Introductory Information Form, Nursing Care Plan (pre-test and post-test) and Self-Efficacy Form were used in data collection. As a result of the study, it was determined that the average age of the students in the intervention and control group was similar, and that most of them experienced problems at all stages while preparing a care plan with nursing process approach. It was determined that the students in the intervention group planned more nursing interventions after web-based instruction and were able to better prepare the nursing care plan in general. It was determinded that the students in the intervention group feel sufficient about preparing the care plan, applying the nursing process to all cases, collecting data, distinguishing the diagnoses, prioritizing the interventions and individualizing them according to the patient, managing care according to patient needs, evaluating the nursing outcomes and writing the care plan appropriately. As a result, it can be said that teaching the nursing process as web based facilitates the students' ability to prepare a care plan. It is recommended that web-based teaching be used as a supportive method in teaching the nursing process.
