Çoklu Özellik Dizisi Mismatch Negativity: Test-Tekrar Test Güvenilirlik Çalışması
Abstract
Mismatch negativity(MMN) is an auditory event-related potential and was developed by Nantaanen, and et al. at 1975. MMN provides an objective index for sound-discrimination accuracy at the cortical level and represents a neural plasticity. The present study aimed to evaluate the test retest reliability of MMN elicited by multi-feature paradigm which is developed in Hacettepe University, to determine clinical appropriateness with shorter presentation time. Twenty-four healthy volunteer subjects are taken the MMN test. Duration of test retest was one week. Amplitudes and latecies which are occur by five types of deviant, are found reliable in group evoluation (p>0,05). Regarding to amplitud values for individual analysis, MMN test re-test reliability was found but test-retest reliability was not found for latency values (p<0,05). In conclusion, the test restest reliability of MMN found in this study promotes the usefulness of the MMN in clinical fields.
