In this study, the sociocultural structures, beliefs, identity perceptions of Salar who lived in Chinese territory for 800 years and how they regard themselves in the dominant group are studied. Although there are a raft of Turkish community, researchers who study and work in the area Salaria issues are few in number Tue Turkey. Although Salars as a Turkish nation, there is very little research on the Salars in Turkey. For this reason, socio-cultural structures of the Salars were investigated and their perception of identity and their contact with other cultures were studied. For this reason, in this research the identity perception and socio-cultural structures of Salar Turks were studied and their integration processes were researched. It’s contributed to minority studies which thought deficient in the literature. Study is done with 18 Salars in Şunhua Salars Autonomous County by using qualitative method.As a result of the research, (i) They accept the Salar's life styles related to the Islamic faith and continue this in their current lives, (ii) they have come into contact with many different cultural groups in historical processes and they interact with many groups as a result of these contacts, (iii) Describe themselves as Muslim and Chinese citizens, (iv) Due to the cultural contacts with the Chinese culture, it has been found that they are affected by Chinese culture in many fields, especially language.
