Türkiye’de Kamu-Özel Ortaklığı Entegre Sağlık Kampüsleri Standart Yatan Hasta Odaları Üzerine Bir İnceleme
Özet
Hospitals are public places where each individual has a moral certainty of experiencing in Daily life. Users of these spaces mostly experience there places under stress from a problem. For this reason, hospitals are special places where designing must be done conscientiously and carefully, functional, technical and aesthetic design criteria plays an important role in these spaces in order to make it easier for individualsto access health care.
In heath care facilities; new necessities have arisen due to the improvement of technologhy, socio-cultural, economic situations and variations in aesthetic perceptions, and a serious change has been experienced in the contex of daily quality and quantity. According to the changing requirements in recent years, the importance of space design and the physical enviroment experienced by users in heathcare facilities is frequenty emphasized, and even the psychological effects of physical factorshae begun to be significant. These necessities were considered and Turkey had met with a new concept called “Integrated Heath Campus”.
It is no wonder that it is only a short time before the health issue turns into one of basic needs of the people, considering that the health problems have come out with the existence of mankind. From that time to today, this need remained and developed in parallel with this process, health care status has improved. Hospital buildings and treatment areas, which are thought to be as old as human history, have come up to date from Milton’s earlier times and in this historical process, hospital structures have shown great differences in function and structure. In the second chapter, the study of the urgency of the concept of health, the definition of hospital structures, historical development and the formation of interiors has been carried out in the context of “World and Turkish history”.
In the third chapter of the thesis, the requirements of the hospitals. Notice will also be attracted to the grouping of hospitals in what areas they serve, in order to be able to master hospital needs. One of the most important factors that affect the general characteristics of hospital structures is, of course, the requirements of hospital users. Research on the needs of hospital users has also been made within the scope of the chapter.
The fourth chapter had been planned to given an idea about the needs of the hospital spaces to meet the basic design requirements and to bring together the needs of interior design. This information will be given in the light of first two sections and the outcomes of the Project. Function-space relations, Color-Tissue-Interior equipments and technical design criteria are the factors that will form the basis of interior design when they come together.
Fifth section will be developed in the light of the results obtained from the general thesis. In this section, “Integrated Health Campus” concept will be explained with it’s starting point, it’s purpose, the structure model of health care that Turkey received from abroad and the result of the application of this health care facility in Turkey.
In the sixth chapter, in terms of a better description of the thesis subject, Turkey’s largerst integrated hospital “Bilkent Integrated Health Campus” had been examined. When the hospital analysis was carried out, patient rooms were observed. While this work is being performed, the development in both hospitals in the World and Turkey had been taken into considereation. Considering the prolonged process of the hospitals, the difference between Integrated Health Campuses and familiar healthcare facility types in Turkey had been analyzed. Bilkent Integrated Hospital interior design of patient room has been compared with one of the hospital which will be move to Bilkent soon. This comparison will help us to make it more understandable and comprehensive these differences between those hospitals. Because of the fact that Bilkent Integrated Health Campus has reached the last point in healthcare facilities in Turkey, information had given about emerging needs and development of hospital designs.
